It’s one of my favorite days of the year! Street Justice is live in the Cuffed & Claimed Box Set. The early reviews are awesome and the common denominator is laughter. Daisy the Shepadoodle is taking the show. I promise intrigue, blushingly hot interaction between the main characters, and an unforgettable dog to steal your heart. All 10 books in the set for 99 cents!

STREET JUSTICE gives a new twist in the series with a sexy cop and his wacky next door neighbor. There’s a secret in the story and by the time it unravels you’ll know the connection to the criminal empire from books 1,2, and 3. I promise a wild ride with laughs and steamy sex. There are ten stories in the box set from ten amazing authors for 99 CENTS. All author proceeds go to the families of officers lost in the line of duty! As a retired police officer this is near and dear to my heart. Pre-order now. This set is only available for a limited time! Releases Oct. 4, 2016.
Years ago, while watching Sons of Anarchy, I asked myself why I enjoyed the show. Violence, horrible bad guys that you cheer for, crooked cops and on and on. SOA was like a bloody train wreck that I couldn’t look away from. My husband and I would discuss the ins and outs of the plot, the characters we loved and those we hated. Bottom line—Sons made us ponder.
The idea for HEAT was born around the time Sons of Anarchy went off the air. And, who better to write about bad guys you love and cops you hate than a retired police detective. The Hotter Than Hell series is not fan fiction. There are no correlations and the romance is the seed factor of all three books. They take place in the hot summer months in Arizona.
HEAT – You have Moon, the head of Arizona’s largest crime syndicate, then SIZZLE – Gomez, Moon’s enforcer and BURN – the newest bad guy, Dax, the president of a skinhead motorcycle gang who’s trying to turn things around.
I knew when writing these stories that not everyone would be able to accept bad men as the good guys. I want these books to make you ponder.
Here’s an awesome review on BURN that I nabbed from Amazon. This reader feels me and she has an amazing way with words.
“This was the first Holly Roberts Book I’ve read and I wasn’t sure what to expect. All I was told in advance was that it “sizzled” — appropos for a book called “Burn,” I guess. I was taken aback by the first chapter, which had a tragedy and a murder. NOT my usual romance book! But after taking a day to digest it, I read on. And read on. And read on. Finished the whole thing in about a day and a half, which surprised me.
Dax and Sofia are not your warm, cuddly, sympathetic characters. In his first chapter, Dax commits a murder. In her first chapter (the book is done via alternating voices), Sofia declares her intention to commit murder. Okay, then! So much for characters I can identify with. But as the story goes on, you understand just why these two hardened characters turned out the way they did, and the reader discovers, as they do, that there’s more to life than they have given it credit for.
It’s not a pretty book — the violence and the sex are graphic, and angels don’t sing and unicorns don’t appear when Dax and Sofia hook up. But my source was right. They DO sizzle.
This was good as as standalone book, even though it’s the third in the series. I liked it well enough and am intrigued enough by characters who played bit parts in this book to go back and buy the first two.” ~ T. Lorenz
If you think you can handle these very bad men, I think you’ll love this series!
She’s an ex-cop and he’s the head of a crime syndicate. Heat turns to sizzle and hearts combust when they find themselves wanting more than a few hot nights between cool sheets.
After a shoulder injury ends her respectable career as a police officer, Mak also known as Madison Abigail Kinlock turns to the seedy world of private investigations by default. Now her job consists of cheating douchebags and baby daddies dodging child support. Things can’t get much worse.
Moon controls Arizona’s largest crime syndicate. His bronze skin and blue eyes leave a girl breathless even when that girl knows he’s bad news. Moon doesn’t give a flying fig what Mak thinks; he wants her—ex-cop, bad attitude, and all.
How does she resist the dark side when her body craves Moon’s searing touch? Things only get hotter in Phoenix when Mak finds herself in a deadly situation and must turn to Moon for help.
I’m hard at work on book 2, SIZZLE. I’m hoping for a spring release. I don’t want to give too much away but Gomez is as bad and yummy as they come. It will take a special woman to find the good in him and I have just the woman to do it.
Here’s the blurb:
The Arizona Desert sizzles and it’s hotter than hell.
Alex Gomez is the enforcer for the largest crime syndicate in Arizona and makes no excuses. His hands are covered in blood and the lines between right and wrong blurred.
Celina Thomas has a deadly secret. Only money can fix her problem and she needs a lot of it, quickly. She’s gifted with a body and face that men are willing to pay for. She makes the decision to enter the world of high class escorts but her heart cries at the injustice.
One night with Alex and Celina’s plan turns upside down.
One night with Celina and Alex’s heart of ice begins to melt.
Celina’s secret could kill them both. Can she trust Alex and place her life in his hands? Can Alex let her escape regardless of the consequences?
Passion ignites as Alex and Celina sizzle with burning need while death lurks on the sweltering Phoenix horizon.
I’m working on the yummy parts of the first book in my new Hotter Than Hell series: “Heat” Here’s a sneak peek…
I once asked my mother what first attracted her to my father. She said it was his eyes—the kindness in his eyes. To understand Moon’s eyes you need to see the complete package.
His mind is sharp; he easily reads people. He reads me like he sees inside my mind and plucks out my thoughts.
His skin is smoke; it’s the only way to describe it now that I’ve had some time to look at him. If I knew nothing about him and saw him on the street, I would think Hawaiian or Samoan.
He’s exotic and his eyes grab you. Blue eyes have never been my thing. And the word “kind” can’t be used in conjunction with Moon’s eyes. They’re intense—treacherous—deadly. Then sometimes, when he looks at me, they go steamy hot. The kind of hot that says I want to lick you from the bottom to the top and then eat you slowly. So slowly, you won’t stop screaming until you’re completely undone.
I’m an ex-cop and will always have a cop’s heart.
Moon’s a criminal and controls a criminal empire. I want him and it’s playing havoc with my soul.
