Holly owned a bookstore for 20 years, where she immersed herself in the world of literature and gained invaluable insights into the industry. She had an AM radio book show and opened a coffee bar inside the store before they became the rage. After her bookstore journey, Holly transitioned into law enforcement at the age of 45, serving as a police officer and later as a homicide and sex crimes detective. These roles have provided her with unique perspectives and experiences that deeply influence her writing.
